I've searched the forums for this problem and found this: I've rebooted, checked for updates, cleaned out my temp folder, ran through the zunepackage47.exe again, rebooted, etc. Got me further until I got a new error message "Windows Portable Device Update didn't install" with a link that took me to the same web page as before (the one that instructed me to install Zune package47.exe.). I followed them and download & installed Zune package 47.exe. During the first try, I got an error message (0xc8000222) sending me to a web page with instructions. I'm trying to install Zune on my new computer (running Windows 7, 64 bit).
